Here we go. A big thanks to for putting the pictures into a collage for me again. But here is the Asch from Tales of the Abyss cosplay I made for Darkangel6 for Animethon last August. This one was soooo much fun to make but a real pain at the same time. All things considered it was just the time it took to put it all together that was the most frustrating. I ended up making up the pattern as I went, cause lets face it, theres not really much you can find that is at all similar to what Asch wears.

hmmmm lets see interesting facts about this cosplay:
1. Favourite part - most definitely appliquéing the pattern on the front and the back of the tabard. Cause even though that took the longest it was really exciting to watch it all come together.
2. Least favourite part - the point that the front line of his tabard comes to. I was never really happy with it and I spent 2 hours trying to get it perfect. *shakes fist and probably the most pointless thing to be upset with* Either that or the shoes explained next.
3. Shoes - heh yeah, a fun experience *laced with Jade sarcasm*. I made the shoes myself by sculpting and sewing the fabric around the sole of a flip-flop. Needless to say, I had some pretty good blisters on my fingers from hand sewing that one.
4. Amount of red thread used - This is the fun fact. I used just over ~450 meters (~1500 ft) of red thread on the tabard alone. For those that can't picture measurements all that easily, thats just taller then the Empire State Building including the antenna/spire.

Yeah so that's all the fun facts I can think of at the moment. But I guess you get the impression ^.~
