Well it only took me what....5 years to take pictures of my prized dress and get them put up on the internet? Yep something like that. But before I start talking about this piece of work, I have to totally thank my Original for surprising me by putting the pictures we took of our epic adventure (in costume of course) into a collage for me. She's the bestest Original in the world, seriously.

But this is my Elizabethan gown that I made about 5 years ago and still continue to wear on random occasions just for the hell of it It's fun to make everyone's lives a little more surreal. lol and I have found that wandering around in a dress like this (ie taking the bus or the train or just walking for that matter) I tend to bring about three different reactions, two from women and one from men. Women either look at you in complete and utter amazement and shock, or they give you that smile which says how much they have always wanted to dress up like a princess too. I tend to bring about swearing from men, ie "holy s***!"

This dress took a couple of months to make and it was originally just for halloween. However, as mentioned tends to come out much more then once a year. It has a bum roll (yes that is what it is called ), hoop skirt and corset bodice. The skirt itself has approximately 5 meters of the blue fabric since it is cartage pleated all around the top.

But I think that is all there really is to say about this one. Really it's just so much fun to float around in. AND THANK YOU ORIGINAL FOR THE AWESOME COLLAGE!!!!!
